White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders 2nd Annual Federal Employee Conference

The White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders will hold its 2nd Annual Federal Employee Conference (FEC) on Friday, July 12, 2013, in Washington, DC.  The theme of this year’s FEC is “Rise to the Challenge.”This training will focus on educating Federal employees about effective ways to meet and exceed the challenges of their current roles in the Federal Government.

This FEC qualifies as training in compliance with 5 U.S.C. chapter 41, and registration is free for all Federal employees.  It will provide training and workshops in a variety of areas including developing skills around communication, building leadership capacity, and mentoring that will help attendees exceed in the workplace.

Agencies are reminded that reporting of training is governed by 5 CFR 410.601.
